Tarig Hammad is a dynamic leader and community advocate with a strong foundation in elite sport and youth development. A former semi-professional footballer in Queensland’s National Premier League, Tarig built his career on discipline, teamwork, and high performance including scoring seven goals in a single match and representing Australia in futsal at an international tournament in Barcelona.

Today, Tarig applies the values learned on the pitch to community engagement, inclusive program delivery, and youth empowerment. He is the Founder of Talim Legacy Youth (TLY) Football Clinic and Co-Founder of Talim Legacy Youth, where he uses sport, mentorship, and community programs to help young people build confidence, resilience, leadership, and essential life skills. Driven by purpose and guided by empathy, Tarig is committed to creating meaningful pathways for the next generation and making a lasting, positive impact across the Australian community.
