Esther Decklam is a finance and governance professional with experience across accounting, audit, financial oversight, donor-funded development programs and insurance environments. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting and a Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance.

She brings to the Board expertise in responsible financial management, governance, risk management, compliance and accountability, supporting sound decision-making and organisational integrity.

A dedicated mother of one, Esther moved to Australia with her family in pursuit of greater education and career opportunities. Having grown up in an underprivileged community, she brings a personal understanding of the challenges faced by young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and have a strong commitment to initiatives that promote education, wellbeing and youth empowerment. Over the past decade, she has contributed to DFAT-funded development programs delivered through Palladium International Pty Ltd, supporting initiatives that strengthen institutions and communities.

As Finance Director and Board Member, she looks forward to contributing a governance-focused and values-driven perspective, and to working collaboratively with fellow directors, partners, and stakeholders across Queensland, Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region to support TLY’s growth, foster positive youth outcomes and strengthen community impact.
